FROM PODGORICA AIRPORT TO KOLAŠIN
Travel options from Podgorica to Kolašin
TAXI
If you arrive in Podgorica by plane, you can take a taxi from the airport to the Podgorica bus or railway stations (they are next to each other).

Then you can get to Kolašin by bus/train (up to one hour and ranging from 3.5 to 6€).
Also, you can take a taxi directly from Podgorica airport to Kolašin. The fee would be around 45-50€.

TRAIN TIMETABLE
The railway isn’t the most popular means of transportation in Montenegro, but it’s definitely one of the cheapest. The ticket price for the train from Podgorica to Kolašin is 3.5€. There is a 50% discount for students. For that price you will get to enjoy some very nice views of the Montenegro mountains.

If you are planning on coming from Belgrade to Kolašin by train it takes around 9 hours and costs 20-25€. Belgrade – Kolašin timetable: 20:20h
CAR RENTAL
If you have a driver’s license and driving experience of at least 2 years, then you can easily rent a car in Montenegro. You can rent a car online at myrentacar.com or some other services. During the summer, there can be issues with finding available cars. Therefore, we recommend taking care of this in advance. Kolašin is located 60 km from the capital of Montenegro, so the Podgorica – Kolašin trip will take about 45 min via Highway. Taking the old main road through Platia Canyon would take longer but with it, you get the possibility to stop along the way to take pictures of the beautiful views.
